Beam is a puzzle game made by Overlaydeck. Using it means agreeing to what is on this page.
Using the game
Play it, enjoy it, keep it to yourself as a player. Do not take it apart to republish it, and do not use tools that alter the game to gain an advantage on the leaderboard.
Your display name
The name you choose is shown to other players. Names that are offensive, impersonate someone, or pretend to be part of the game are not allowed, and may be removed or reset without warning. There is an automatic filter; it is a first line of defence rather than a guarantee, so if you see a name that should not be there, tell us.
Coins, powerups and purchases
- Coins and powerups are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another player or another account.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are Apple's to give, under their terms, not ours.
- Coins do not survive losing your device. They are consumable: once bought and spent they are gone, and because the game has no sign-in they cannot be restored on a new phone.
- Beam Forever and Remove ads do come back. They are permanent unlocks, and "Restore purchases" in Settings will return them on a device signed in to the same Apple ID.
Ads
Beam is free and is paid for by advertising. There are banners on the menus and a full-screen ad between levels now and then; there are never ads while you are solving a board. You can also choose to watch a video in exchange for coins, and that is always your choice — nothing in the game requires it.
The ads are served by Google AdMob. We do not choose the individual ads and we are not responsible for what an advertiser says or sells. If you see something that should not be there, tell us and we will report it to Google.
Remove ads is a one-time purchase that turns off the banners and the between-level ads permanently. Videos you choose to watch for coins keep working. Buying it does not change anything else about the game.
Buying things cannot buy you a better leaderboard position. Every powerup costs a star, and stars are what the leaderboard counts — so spending money can only ever lower your score, never raise it. That is deliberate.
Test builds
If you are playing a TestFlight build, it is unfinished by definition. It may break, lose progress, or change without notice, and features shown in it may never ship.
Changes to the game
Beam will change. Levels, prices, powerups and the leaderboard may all be altered, and parts of it may be discontinued. Where a change would take away something you paid real money for, we will not make it without telling you first.
No warranty
Beam is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It is a puzzle game; do not rely on it for anything that matters.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
